Nestled in a quiet location away from the main road, yet conveniently close to the local Deception Bay hub, Gardenia Early Learning Deception Bay provides a warm, nurturing, and inspiring environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
Our purpose-built centre features six well-resourced learning environments, an expansive natural playground, a dedicated Art Studio, and a Wellness Studio where children can learn, create, and thrive throughout the day.

Strong School Readiness & Transition Program
At Gardenia Early Learning Deception Bay, we are proud to offer a highly regarded Transition to School Program that has been recognised by local schools for preparing children to start their schooling journey with confidence and success.
Through strong partnerships with local schools and intentional teaching practices, we focus on developing the literacy, numeracy, social, emotional, and self-help skills children need to thrive in Prep and beyond. Our local school communities consistently recognise the confidence, independence, and readiness demonstrated by children transitioning from our centre into their school environment.

We work closely with Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and other Allied Health professionals who regularly visit our centre to work alongside our educators and children. Providing support within children’s everyday learning environment allows strategies to be implemented consistently and meaningfully throughout the day, helping every child build the skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive.
Bush Kindergarten Adventures
A unique feature of our centre is our weekly Bush Kindergarten program, which is enjoyed by children across all age groups.
Children explore the natural environment, participate in hands-on outdoor learning experiences, build resilience and confidence, and enjoy special visits with local horses. These experiences foster a lifelong connection with nature while supporting children’s wellbeing, development, and sense of adventure.
Creative & Wellbeing-Focused Learning Spaces
Our dedicated Art Studio and Wellness Studio provide children with opportunities to express themselves, explore their creativity, develop mindfulness skills, and engage in experiences that support their overall wellbeing.
These specialised learning environments are accessible throughout the day, allowing children to follow their interests and engage in meaningful learning experiences that support their individual development.
Our outdoor environment is also home to native Australian bees, which form part of our year-round pollination program. Through hands-on learning experiences and daily observation, children develop an understanding of sustainability, biodiversity and the important role pollinators play in our environment.

Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program
Gardenia Early Learning Deception Bay proudly offers an approved and funded Queensland Kindergarten Program, aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG).
Led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher, our Kindergarten program provides rich learning experiences that support children’s development and school readiness.
As an approved Queensland Kindergarten Provider, eligible children can access the Queensland Government Free Kindy each week for 40 weeks per year.
