We are proud to welcome families to our purpose-built early learning centre in the heart of Wilsonton. Thoughtfully designed to create beautiful, nurturing spaces, our centre provides an environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Designed for Learning and Play

Gardenia Wilsonton caters for 134 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years across eight light-filled learning studios. Our environments support both individual and group learning experiences, encouraging children to explore, discover, and build confidence at their own pace.

Our outdoor environments have been thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and active play, with multiple forts and play spaces that support children’s developmental progression at every age and stage.

Research-Informed Learning and Care

At Gardenia, our curriculum is guided by research-informed practice and an inquiry-based approach to learning. We believe every child is unique, and our educators intentionally support each child’s individual learning, development, and interests through meaningful play and responsive teaching.

Our curriculum balances both individual and group learning opportunities, helping children build confidence, independence, communication skills, creativity, and strong foundations for lifelong learning.

To provide children with the time, attention, and support they deserve, we operate above standard staffing ratios in key age groups. These enhanced ratios allow our educators to build strong relationships with children and provide additional support during important stages of development and school readiness.

Kindergarten and Transition to School Program

Our Kindergarten programs are led by three highly qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about supporting children during these important early learning years.

Our Transition to School Program supports children across our 3 – 5 year learning studios, helping them build the confidence, independence, and foundational skills needed for a successful transition to school. Through intentional teaching, small group learning experiences, collaborative projects, and individualised support, children are encouraged to develop social and emotional confidence, communication skills, early literacy and numeracy understandings, and positive learning dispositions.

Our educators work closely with families and local schools to ensure children feel supported and prepared for this important milestone, creating a calm and nurturing transition into the next stage of their learning journey.

Healthy Meals and Nutrition Support

Our onsite cook prepares fresh, nutritious meals daily using seasonal menus designed to support children’s health, wellbeing, and development. We understand that every child’s nutritional needs are unique, and our cook works closely with families to accommodate individual dietary requirements and preferences.
